After three semesters of mediocre term projects I decided it was time to produce something worth while - Wolfgang and I developed a project that was ordered by our university as re-design of its subject evaluation system. The aim was to program a PHP/mySQL based web system that would replace the current one while improving it to suit the needs of the students. The project succeeded, however it never got used. |

| Project description: |
In the fourth term, in another highly interesting subject, we had to choose from different image processing topics and implement one of them using Java and the ImageJ application. We decided to tackle the domino project - the goal was to identify randomly positioned and rotated domino stones in a real life photograph, rotate each one to a vertical position and count the white dots. I am proud to say that our program does exactly that and it does it more than well ... |
