| Project description: |
The Modular Arbitrary Shader System, or short MASS, was my diploma project. It was first conceived of at the Austrian game development company Sproing where I worked as an intern in the summer of 2006. From the internship project it turned into my diploma project that was developed in the third and fourth graduate semesters and I managed to finish a first prototype which I used as the applied part of my master thesis (which can be found in the WRITING section). |

| Project description: |
The third graduate semester provided a Computer Vision course at the university, where we were encouraged to tackle very complex projects. In addition, the project acceptance criteria were fairly high, requiring not only a flawless program code, but also an extensive documentation describing what was done, what the results were and most importantly, what they meant. All of these were programmed in Java while using the ImageJ application. |
