In the second graduate semester I was part of a development team that relied heavily on doku:wiki for its documentation needs, since it was a collaborative effort. However, we also needed to turn this documentation in at the end of the semester in the form of a LaTeX-generated PDF. To facilitate the transport of the Wiki documentation into LaTeX I decided to write a small program that parses the Wiki pages and returns properly formatted LaTeX sources. |

The course Advanced Computer Graphics required us to create an effect via OpenGL in teams of two. This "effect" had to be an application with view frustum culling, a shadow algorithm, vertex buffer objects and another effect of our choosing. My friend Jakob and I decided to create a lantern with spray particle effects. As we were forbidden to use any 3rd party libraries that call OpenGL functions we decided to completely remove any libraries (even GLUT) and do everything 100% OpenGL. |
