| Project description: |
As part of the C++ lab, we had to program a simple computer game, Pente (your basic 5-wins). It had to be done in C++, be playable by two players either at the same computer or over the network (therefore a server and client functionality had to be implemented) and a computer player (artificial intelligence) had to be provided as well. It is my biggest development project to-date (6000+ lines of code, 1500 alone the AI) and it was a lot of work and a helluva experience. |

| Project description: |
In the first term of the graduate program Wolfgang, Philipp and I decided to finaly create something worthwhile - a computer game. The game, a space shooter code named "Odyssey", is a two-semester project so the first semester was basically spent by doing research and getting to know our chose open-source graphic engine OGRE. However, as every FH project has to yield results, I decided to program a small program in OGRE that would test the performance of the graphic engine. |
