Two elective subjects had to be completed in the fifth semester - my choice fell to XML Programming and Shader Programming (Cg). The shader programming class concluded with a project done in groups of two, where we had to find a Cg shader on the internet, understand it completely and re-program the OpenGL framework around it (the shaders found usually had DirectX frameworks). Julian and I decided to re-create the Klingon cloaking effect known from Star Trek movies. |

In the fifth semester the computer graphics class continued with its second part - advanced OpenGL. Although not thought possible, this class even improved in comparison to the fourth term subject with exciting topics such as game graphics or 3D modelling and OpenGL. Some examples of my work can be downloaded below. |
