Grey’s Anatomy

Just a quick note to let you know how I spent my weekend. Unfortunately, it was all but productive, so the following three days will have to make up for it. The plan is to get up tomorrow at 8 am, so I should be going to bed pretty soon. But before I go I want to share a couple of discoveries I made over the weekend.

The first of them is a new TV show called Grey’s Anatomy – a Scrubs-like show about interns at a hospital emphasizing more the medical parts than the whacky comedy stuff. So it’s like a more medical Scrubs or a funnier Emergency Room. It goes over very well, with well situated and not very frequent, but very very funny humor, amazing characters and cast and great stories. I’ve seen 5 episodes of the first season over the weekend and fell head over heels in love with this show. It is simply breathtaking and I am loving every minute of it.

The other discoveries are of the musical sense: songs from OSTs like “The Day After Tomorrow” from Harald Kloser, “Old Baghdad” from Jerry Goldsmith (The 13th Warrior OST) or my current favorite, Michael Nyman’s “Here To There” from The Piano OST are now making my development time so much more enjoyable. All of them are great great pieces of music, well worth a listen if you like movie scores.

So that’s it for tonight. Be back with hopefully some great project news in a couple of days …
